If I need a specific length of moulding or stain grade material, why does it cost 20 percent more?

Due to the extra labor and waste in material to select a uniform color or a defect free piece, an additional 20% will be assessed to the lineal foot price whenever this service is requested.

What type of wood does Driwood use to make mouldings?

All moulding prices are based on kiln-dried poplar wood.

What if I would like to specify a different type of wood for my moulding order?

Quotations on other woods, i.e. mahogany, oak, cherry, walnut, etc. are available upon request.

How will my order be packaged for shipping?

All orders are shipped in random lengths (6’ to 16’ feet), unassembled, average being approximately 12’ feet. Shorter lengths are usually applicable to UPS orders and ceiling cornices usually longer.

Will furring strips be included in my order?

Furring strips are not included in assembly prices.

If I order casings in specified lengths will there be an additional charge?

Casings can be shipped in specified lengths without additional charges, provided headers and legs are itemized at the time of the order.

Do you provide any specified lengths on any other mouldings except casings without a 20 percent upcharge?

We do not provide specified lengths on any other mouldings without a 20 percent specified length charge.

I am planning to stain my mouldings. Does that make a difference in placing my order?

Please let us know if painting or staining. If you require a stain-grade, due to the extra labor and waste in material to select a uniform color or a defect free piece, an additional 20% will be assessed to the lineal foot price whenever this service is requested.

Will my order be preassembled?

All mouldings are shipped unassembled.
